Booking Managers

Rental License (Pondok Wisata)

 

To rent a villa in Indonesia a rental license (Pondok Wisata or PW) is required. The owners have recently been inspected and approved for renewal of their license. Some things to note:

  • The PW is shared with three other houses at the complex
  • The PW is held in the name of Tut Cing. The owners pay him a modest salary for this and there is an indemnity document you must sign which protects him from any tax obligations from the villas. It basically states that all income is your responsibility and has nothing to do with him.

 

Location and Neighbourhood

 

The villa is located in the banjar of Lodtunduh within a complex,  3.5km South of the city center and just 2.4km south of the Yoga Barn in Ubud.

It is the 9th of 10 houses to be built along either side of a local stream on reclaimed land. The designers were careful to choose land which was not used for rice farming (and hence deprive local farmers of any income).
